This is the place where we come from. Where our roots are located. Where our story has started.
The Haider Estate stands for straightforward and fine Prädikatsweine with varietal character. From Spätlese via Eiswein to Trockenbeerenauslese - for us it's not only "Sweetwine", it's also a substantial part of our family history.
Nowadays Theresa and Gerhard are the fourth generation who runs the winery. They cultivate about 15ha with great care and sensitivity.
GERHARD
Growing wine is my driving passion. Most of the time I'm the one who can be found in the vineyards or in the cellar. That's where I can give my thoughts full scope. It's an immense value to combine the wide knowledge of my father with my own impressions and ideas, gained for example at my placement at the winery Alois Kracher. My mission is to produce puristic and organic wines that faithfully reflect our region and are brimful of life at once.
THERESA
I found my true fulfillment by marrying into a family of winemakers. After a technical education and some exiting and varied years as a representative, I suddenly found myself running a wine estate. And I love what I do. My great passion (apart from wine) is culinary art. So it's hardly surprising that, as a sweet-wine-specialist and sommelier, my heart goes for outstanding culinary creations paired with Prädikatsweine.
