Our winery is located in the east of Austria near the Hungarian border in the wine-growing country Burgenland. Our hometown Illmitz lies in the heart of the local region called Seewinkel. Our area is also home of the "Nationalpark Neusiedler See - Seewinkel".

Our winery was founded in 1870. We already are the fourth generation who runs the winery with pride, tradition and inspiration. We grow 13 types of grapes on 13 hectares. While the white wines Sämling 88, Riesling, Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Muskat Ottonel, Traminer and Sauvignon Blanc cover 70 percent of the total amount of production, red wines like Blauer Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and, to a small extent, St. Laurent complete our product range. Additionally, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon provide the international touch.

Abundance of fruit, intense flavor and region-specific qualities distinguish our wines. We produce elegant wines of a high quality. They reflect the uniqueness of the Seewinkel region.
